The tsuba is accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon [Worthy of Preservation] certificate, no. 4024641, dated 19 June Reiwa 7 [2025], with a photo of the tsuba and the seal of the NBTHK.

Of kawarigata form, with a kogai and kozuka hitsu ana, the nakago with suaka sekigane, finely worked in marubori (round carving) and yo-sukashi to form overlapping billowing waves. Signed to one side BAMEN TSUNEMASA with kao. The reverse signed BOSOKEN YASUYUKI with seal YASUYUKI.
