Edo Period (1615-1868) 

A small tsuba with a shakudō nanako ground, decorated in high relief with family crests—Hoshi Umebachi and the Shibata Fuji crest—enhanced with inlaid and gold iroe decoration.

Yasuda was metalsmith's school who served as retained artisan to the Tokugawa family.
