Iron Sukashi Echizen Tsuba with floral pattern

Edo period (1615-1868) 

The Echizen iron sukashi (pierced in openwork) tsuba of marugata shape, with a kozuka and kogai hitsu-ana, featuring a floral motif with lobed petals. 

This tsuba is accompanied by an NBTHK certificate. It was reviewed by the Japan Art Sword Preservation Association on May 30, 1973. 

Height: 7.1 cm,
Length: 6.9 cm
Weight: 68.1 g 

Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and slight corrosion. 
With a padded wood tomobako storage box, bearing a red seal and a label inside 鑑付 ‘kantsuki’ [with certification].
